How we use AI, and how you can tell

If a chatbot or a message told you it was automated and pointed you here, the system is working as designed. This page explains what that means.

Where AI is used

In chatbots on client websites, in WhatsApp and Instagram messaging, in drafting follow-up emails and text messages, and in researching and drafting articles and guides that clients publish. In every case a person set the rules, approved the samples, and reviews the output.

How it identifies itself

Every chatbot we operate says it is automated at the start of the conversation. Every automated message includes a way to reach a person and a way to opt out. Where we operate a voice system, the caller hears at the start that they are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call is recorded. Every DATIK article displays an AI-assisted label at the top, names the human reviewer, and links back to this process.

How articles are produced

A person selects the question and the sources worth checking. AI may help research the subject, organize the material, and draft language. Before publication, a named human reviewer checks the cited sources, factual claims, internal links, structured data, and final wording. The reviewer can reject the draft, remove unsupported claims, or stop publication.

The disclosure names AI assistance rather than describing the article as wholly machine-written. That distinction matters because the human reviewer approves the final claims and remains accountable for what DATIK publishes.

What a person always does

Reads every article before it publishes. Approves every message template before it sends. Takes over any conversation the moment someone asks. Handles pricing negotiation, complaints, and legal, medical or financial questions, and anything the business has marked as human-only.

What the systems never do

Pretend to be a named employee or a human. Contact anyone without a lawful basis or after an opt-out. Make up an answer when they do not have one: they say so and offer a person. Collect payment card numbers, government identifiers or health details in chat.

What happens to what you say

Conversations and messages are stored in the client business's own systems under its privacy notice, and are used to answer you and to improve the answers the business gives. They are not used to train public AI models. See our privacy notice for retention and your rights.

Reaching a human

Say "person", "human" or "agent" in any chat. Reply to any message. Or write to info@datik.click naming the business and the channel; we connect you and log the request.

Reporting a problem

If a system we operate got something wrong, did not identify itself, or contacted you after you opted out, tell us at the same address. We investigate every report, correct the system, and reply to you with what we found.
